Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Beak School wants every bird owner to be able to use our lessons, community, and tools, including people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or have low vision, limited mobility, or a cognitive disability.

Our standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as our target. We design our pages to work with a keyboard, screen readers, and zoom. We give meaningful images text descriptions, and we keep text and buttons at readable contrast. We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. We build accessibility into the pages themselves.

Captions and transcripts

We are adding closed captions to every Beak School video lesson. Some older lessons and recorded live sessions do not have captions yet. If you need a captioned version or a transcript of any lesson, email us and we will send it within 5 business days.

What we know is not perfect yet

1. Some older lessons and live session replays do not have captions yet.
2. Some features come from other companies. Payment forms are run by Stripe and PayPal, live video calls are run by Daily, and a few lessons and trainer videos play through YouTube or Vimeo. These may have their own barriers.
3. Videos, photos, and posts that members and trainers upload may not have captions or image descriptions.

We review the site for accessibility on a regular schedule and after big changes, and we fix the most serious barriers first.

How to get help

If something on our site does not work for you, email BeakSchool@beautyofbirds.com with the subject line "Accessibility". Tell us the page and what went wrong. We will reply within 3 business days. While we fix the problem, we will help you another way, for example by sending an accessible document, a transcript, or a captioned lesson, or by helping you by email, text message, or a scheduled phone or video call.

You can also write to us at Beak School, 322 Dogwood Village Rd, Salina, OK 74365, United States.

Asking for help never affects your account, your refund rights, or how we treat you.
